We are here to help you with the recovery of your project. Depending on the organization, type of project and so forth, the intervention can be done in a number of ways. Typically we will join your team and get an overview of the situation by going through the project, documentation, structure etc. We work with your team to identify where things went wrong and implement the iniatives needed to get things back on track. Studies have shown that 60% of the issues leading to project delay or even failure lies outside the control of the project manager. We will work as an integrated part of your team to implement the solutions needed to get your project back on track. Our goal is to enable your organization and project team to return, as quickly as possible, to running the project themselves. Thereby reducing the costs of the intervention and maximizing the project outcome.

The project board is the decision making authority in a project or programme. They delegate the day-to-day management of the project to the PM, make decisions and supply the resources. The project board is also responsible for controlling the project through its various phases and for reviewing the regular reportings received from the PM. Many projects are unfortunately conducted without a proper project board, which is an almost sure recipe for problems. Z-Solutions help clients setup a professional project board and coach the members through the meetings to ensure that the board works as it should Project Review
In some situations a client has a need to conduct a project review. This can be the situation if the client has lost the overview of an internal project or if the client has the feeling that a vendor is not being completely honest about the status of a project. Z-Solutions is able to go in and conduct such a review, normally in a few days, to capture the exact status of the project. The advantage is that we are nautral and as such, we have no problem reporting the actual status. Project Estimations
It appears to be the biggest problem in project management today. A study from PriceWaterhouseCoopers made public in 2004 made it clear that one of the biggest problems which projects suffers under today is "Bad Estimates/Missed Deadlines". Wrong estimates can costs a lot of money. We work together with clients to ensure that the estimation process follows best practise and are not just guesstimates. Turn-around Management
Putting a taskforce in to work through the issues and get the project back on track can under certain circumstances be an option. Decisions have to be taken and the traction resulting thereof must be used to produce short-term results. Working through such a process requires knowledge and experience, which is what Z-Solutions' turn-around consultants are bringing. We will stop the project in its tracks to avoid further problems and conduct a review to establish the true status of the project. We will then recommend a course of action to management which after approval will be implemented.
